The historic King’s College, Lagos, has undergone a significant transformation with the renovation of its library in 2022, thanks to the efforts of the Triune Foundation. The project aimed to modernize the institution’s reading and research facilities, enhancing students' access to quality academic resources.
Established in 1909, King’s College is one of Nigeria’s most prestigious secondary schools. Over the years, its library had suffered from inadequate infrastructure and outdated materials, prompting the need for extensive refurbishment.
The renovation project, spearheaded by the Triune Foundation in collaboration with the school’s administration, included structural repairs, new furniture, digital resources, and an improved cataloging system. The library now boasts modern study areas, high-speed internet access, and a wide range of new books, journals, and e-learning tools to support student education.
